surely a forum for a y2k-inspired brand is the correct place to ask this. this is one of my favorite questions to ask people because aside from the fact I am obsessed with all things Flash (but especially games), it acts as an excellent litmus test for how one's time is spent on the internet. Did they spend more time on Newgrounds? Kongregate? Or was their flash gaming mostly relegated to Coolmath4kids and the like? Was it some random bullshit site that ruined the family PC? All of the above? curious to see what y'all have to say.
To get the discussion started, off the top of my head here is a very (very) non-comprehensive list of some of my favs, in no particular order:

I am definitely missing a ton here and I'll certainly amend this later as I remember more, because I spend way too much time thinking about stupid shit like this

Funnily enough, I don't really recall playing much in the way of flash games when I was younger. At least not really any that I remember. I remember browsing the Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon sites as a kid but I'm not sure my brain developed enough for me to remember the games I played there. I spent most of my flash related time on Newgrounds watching animations. On my Wii. Not sure why that was the device of choice.

in the era of "multimedia" being the hot thing I feel like the Wii gets overlooked. as a kid I watched a Fuck ton of spongebob on my wii on the netflix app (back when netflix wasnt shit) and im sure some other shit too that im not remembering. esp if its a hacked wii you can do a ton of shit with it, nintendo really shot themselves in the foot by not making dvd functionality native in it. I *still* use my PS3 as my main optical media player lmao

any specific fav flash animations? thats kind of a corner of the web I never grew up on although there are a few that slipped thru the cracks that I love

so true. the wii was like my main media device from like 2009-2012 or so. god bless opera browser flash support.

Most of what I used to watch (to the surprise of few) was Sonic-related. I think I found Newgrounds through a Sonic fansite actually. There was this site called Random Sonic Net, and they had a page with a bunch of links out to videos and flash animations. This one comes to mind first.

I also remember some Megaman sprite animation set to I'm Blue. And a Toad-themed Mr. Roboto, which only exists as a reupload now I think.

There was also your Egoraptors, and Spazkids, and Kirbophers, etc. Also clocks, lotsa clocks.

Used to drive my family crazy with this one.

i was always partial to Interactive Buddy for its pseudo-ragdoll physics, my parents were not big fans of it, and they had phases in which they took away all my violent video games whenever there was some incident with the news blaming GTA or COD, both of which i wasn't actually allowed to play until i was well into my teens. this game wasnt a favourite thing to find me doing because youre basically just torturing a circle-based lifeform.

i was allowed to play halo because you shoot big colourful aliens and such.

my parents still felt the need to sit me down and explain that, in real life, you dont respawn in 3 seconds... or any other amount of time. for the record, i did know that people do die when they are killed.

maybe im a pussy but idk I was never into the interactive buddy (or similar) series... why would I want to harm a buddy... I want to be nice to buddy...
